Welcome to Reception/ Year 1!
The topic this term is 'Elements' the children have decided that they would like to link their learning to the film 'Moana'.
We have looked into the life of people living on the island of Motunui and discussed what food sources are available to them. We thought about why planting and growing food was so important to the people in the film in order for them to survive. We have had a go at planting our own cress and are enjoying watching it grow! We especially enjoyed getting our hands dirty!
Welcome to Reception/Year 1,
