This week we have done lots of persuasive work. The chairs in class decided to go on strike and the children wrote them letters to persuade them to come back. The children wrote beautiful posters about our school and why people should come and visit. We have designed our own underwater sea creatures and have been practicing our visualisation skills by drawing a front cover based on the blurb of a book. We have loved listening to the story 'Somebody Swallowed Stanley'. We have just started looking at money in math. This week please can you explore and handle 1p,2p,5p,10p,20p,50p,£1 and £2 coins with your child. Perhaps you could hide the coins and the children could have a treasure hunt!
With the warmer weather approaching please can you make sure that you label jumpers and cardigans clearly so that they don't get mixed up in class.
