  • Expressive Arts

    Friday 21st April

Linked to our work on natural disasters this term, I would like you to create a piece of art inspired by your choice of disaster.

You could create a watercolour, collage, papier mache, abstract drawing, Kawaii image and so on.

Think carefully about the colours you would choose to represent the natural disaster of your choice and how you would represent their size - be creative!

    Friday 13th January 2023

We have begun learning about the text 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by Shakespeare and we have been creating pieces of art inspired by the setting and characters.

Can you create any of the following:

    • A silhouette image of your favourite character with an appropriate setting as the background e.g. Puck in the forest
    • A portrait of King Oberon and Queen Titania
    • A magical woodland image

Think carefully about the materials you are going to use. You could use natural materials such as fallen leaves for the woodland scene and so on.

    Portraits

This half term we are focusing on portraiture.

Can you create a portrait of someone you admire. This could be someone in your family, a friend, someone famous or even a pet!

You can create your portrait using any creative tool you wish, including:

    Paint, pencils or pastels

    Collage

technology tools (some of you might have apps on iPads or other tools you may wish to use)

Be creative - I am looking forward to seeing your work!
