Homework 12.11.21

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

Yesterday we discussed what ‘peace’ means to us and when we feel most at peace. The children enjoyed creating some poppy art of them holding a poppy in their hand. We have been busy learning about Diwali the Festival of Lights. We loved learning about the story of Rama and Sita, making some Mehdi patterns and using clay to design and make our own colourful Diva lamps. Over the next week we are going to be exploring light in further detail. For homework this week could you explore light and shadows by making some different shadows with your fingers? Please see pictures below for some ideas:
