Homework 17^th September

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Homework for this week will be focusing on practicing independent skills. When independence grows a child's confidence also grows. As they master new skills or take on some responsibility, they begin to see themselves as being capable.This weekend please can the children practice:

• Putting their coat on independently.
• If a cardigan or jumpers selves is inside out pulling the sleeves out the right way.
• Zipping/buttoning up their coat and bag. If your child is struggling with this start them off first.
• Eating with a knife and fork at the dinner table.

These skills can be tricky and take some time to master! The most important thing is that the children are having a go themselves and enjoying.
