Summer Term
Welcome back,
I hope you had a wonderful Easter holidays and had lots of adventures and of course chocolate!
It was great getting to know the children over the last half term, they are a credit to you. I am looking forward to teaching them this term.
With the weather warming up please make sure that your child comes to school with sun cream applied. The children will need to bring a water bottle and sun hat with them every day as we will be doing lots of outdoor learning. Please can you also ensure that your child’s belongings are labelled clearly with their names-it makes it much easier for the adults in class to make sure that belongings go home with the correct child.
This week we will be doing E.P.I.C planning in class where the children share ideas on what they would like to learn about this half term. Our theme is 'What Lies Beneath'. I am excited to incorporate their thoughts into my planning to make the learning experiences interesting and engaging for the children.
Our PE day will continue to be a Tuesday each week please ensure that your child wears appropriate clothing and footwear to school on this day. Homework will be uploaded onto the school website each Friday, please click on the 'Homework' icon below to access weekly homework.
CAPER stories and/or reading books will be changed each Thursday.
If you have any questions/queries or you want share positive values your child has been displaying at home please feel free to get in contact or catch me at the start/end of the day or via email. My email is FrancisN19@hwbcymru.net
Many thanks,
Miss Francis
