Rock / Crystal Fact file 

Choose a rock or a crystal that interests you and create a fact file on it. You could include information on its properties, what it is used for, where it is found and whether it is igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary. As well as pictures. 

As this will be a piece of information writing, try to include the following: 

*A Heading

*An introduction 

*A formal tone

*Present tense (unless writing about something historical)

*Text boxes

*Subheadings

*Topic specific language

*Pictures with captions
