Dear parents/guardians, 

This week in class we listened to the story of ‘The Lion and the Mouse’ and spoke about kindness. We made our own ‘web of kindness’ and thought of ways we can be kind to others in school. We pretended to be the mouse and persuaded the lion to set us free. We also spoke about jungle animals and the children made posters about their favourite jungle animal. Next week we will be exploring materials in more depth.  

For homework this week please can you go on a material hunt around your house (a sheet has been sent home with your child).
