We have been looking at features of information writing. We identified that non-fiction texts usually include:

• Headings
• Subheadings
• Real facts/information
• Images - illustrations/photographs 
• Captions and labels to describe images
• Bold words (for important words)
• Glossary
• Index
• Contents Page 

Can you please create your own information text all about your favourite thing. This could be your favourite animal, your favourite hobby or sport or even your favourite person!
