Welcome back to the summer term Year 2/3!

We hope you had the most wonderful Easter holiday! We are so happy to be back in school and can't wait to enjoy the new term with you all!

Our whole school topic this term is

'What Lies Beneath'

We have have completed our E.P.I.C. (Everyone Plans In Class) planning digitally on Padlet. Please have a look via clicking the link below (image of soil) to see our ideas!

P.E. will be on a Tuesday with Eleanor (Tennis) and a Thursday with the class teacher.

Can all children ensure they wear appropriate clothing and footwear to school on these days please.

Homework / Spellings

Homework will now be set as a 'homework menu' where one piece of work for each Area of Learning (AOLE) will be uploaded for the half term. This can be done as and when you find the time unless a specific date is set for it to be completed. This will be uploaded onto the class page under the 'homework' tab below and will be named Summer 1 for the first half term and Summer 2 for the second (after May half term).

Spellings will be conducted via spelling shed (an online platform). Your child has a username and password and will be able to practise their spelling words in school and at home. Spelling words will be tested in school on a Friday.

Don't forget we use online platforms such as reading eggs, abacus maths, tt rock stars and spelling shed in school to aid children's learning and these can be accessed at home too. You can access thrm via the 'Quick Links' tab below.
