Dear parents/guardians,
Thank you for your continued support with homework. I’ve enjoyed looking at all the portraits the children brought in and emailed. This week the children have been busy learning about Little Red Riding Hood. They have set up their own role play area for Grandma’s house and have created story maps to help them retell the story. We have started looking at position and movement in math, the children have been enjoying dancing to the cha cha slide to help them with their left and right. We have also been busy practicing for the summer serenade and making out our own dances.
For homework this week can you talk to children about stranger danger. We have had discussions in class about Red Riding Hood and the Wolf linked to stranger danger.
Please can all children bring a sun hat and water bottle to school everyday. Please can you ensure that your child is wearing suncream to school.
