Year 5/6

Welcome to Year 5 & 6! It has been fun getting to know all of you and I am really looking forward to learning and laughing with you this year.

Check up Tests

Spelling words will be handed out every Friday and will be practised in class on a Monday, in preparation for a test on a Friday. Pupils will also have set times tables to learn and will be tested every week.

Homework

Once we have completed our EPIC Planning, a new home learning menu will be set which will incorporate ideas and activities that cover the areas of learning and that the children have helped generate.

Maths homework will be uploaded onto our class page for all to access at any time. It will help support our areas of learning in class.

Our PE days will be on Monday afternoon with Mr Lewis and Thursday with myself.
All children will need to wear suitable clothes and trainers on these days. Please remember to bring a water bottle also.
