Week 2
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week the children have been working hard learning new letters and sounds and writing recounts this week in literacy. A mysterious suitcase, train ticket, paw prints and a marmalade sandwich was found in class. The children have been trying to guess who may have left it; the children's imagination has been outstanding! In math we have been learning about 2D shapes, made 2D shape patterns, 2D shape pictures, gone on shape hunts around the school and even made some 2D shapes with our bodies!
For homework this week please can you look in magazines with your child and hunt for some different 2D shapes. When you find a 2D shape cut it out and sort it onto the correct sheet.
