A fabulous week of all things sustainable! The children have been completing a whole school sustainability - learning what are clothes are made of and where they come from, what clothes are suitable for different weather conditions and how we can make a difference by reusing and recycling our clothes. They have designed their christmas tops and made a start on upcycling them - we are looking forward to our fashion show next week!
This week for homework can you please help us get into the festive mood (not like we need much coaxing!) and create a tree decoration for our class tree. Please can you make them as sustainable as possible to fit in with this week's theme! Items from the outdoors, kitchen cupboards and recyclable materials will work great - twigs, bottle tops, pasta, cardboard! Please see some images below for inspiration:
New spelling shed assignments have been allocated for the week. Please use your log on details to practise at home. Don't forget we have an online spelling test every Friday based on the week's words/sounds.
