The children have all worked incredibly hard this week. They have been busy matching analogue and digital time and are all really starting to get to grips with this tricky topic.
This week we have also been learning about Mount Everest. The children used the chrome books to research Mount Everest and they watched some small documentaries that gave us lots of facts. The children then used all their knowledge to write some amazing information texts about Mount Everest. We have also been trying to find out about the mysterious yeti - the class was split on whether he is real or a myth and we had great fun discussing it.
For homework this week please could your child write a list of items they would need if they were going to climb Mount Everest. This can be done on paper or using JIT5 on hwb. The lists can be illustrated and have pictures included too.
