Homework 8th October

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This week we are been busy bees learning all about bees! The children enjoyed finding out about how bees communicate and have been doing ‘the waggle dance’ in class all week. We also found out about the different jobs that bees have and pretended that we were in a bee hive-each child was given a different job to look after our hive. We had lots of fun! We learned about pollination and how important bees are to our planet. We also thought about what we can do to help the bees and have made some ‘Save the Bees’ posters to put up around the school.

With ‘Technology Week’ coming up next week homework will be linked to practicing some ICT skills at home.

Reception- Please familiarise yourself with ‘Abacus Active Learn’. I have allocated some games for the children have have a go at. I have sent home logins and passwords today with all children. If you have any issues logging in at all please do not hesitate to contact me.

Year 1- Please practice logging in and out of Abacus Active Learn and Reading Eggs independently.

Any issues at all please get in contact with me on FrancisN19@hwbcymru.net

Hope you have a great weekend full of fun!
