Week 4
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week the children have been learning about addition in math. Reception children have been adding 1 more and Year 1 have been working on number bonds. We have been learning about how people communicated a long time ago. The children enjoyed pretending to be messenger pigeons and sent notes to their friends. We also wrote a letter to Paddington bear to ask him why there was glitter around our time machine. The children got creative and made their own queen themed stamps using water colour paint. We have started looking at telephones in class and will be making our own telephones using paper cups and strings. For homework this weekend please can the children write a letter/postcard for someone they love. Maybe you could even visit your local post office and see how many post boxes you can see whilst out and about.
