Happy Earth Day 

22nd April 2020

Here are some Earth Day activities that you could have a go at while your at home

  • Plant some seeds and watch them grow (sunflowers are great and they attract bumble bees and other insects also once they have flowered the seeds can be used to feed the birds)
  • Create an information poster telling people how they can recycle and what can be recycled (Recycling is our science theme for this term)
  • Make a picture using items in the garden (sticks, leaves, stones etc). See if you can make a rainbow out of these.
  • Create some craft with items from around the house (cardboard boxes, paper plates, toilet roll tube, milk bottles etc). Here are some ideas of what you can make.

Spring Term
This term our topic is “Hands Around the World”. 
The class have had a discussion of what they would like to learn and have come up with some very interesting and exciting ideas. We are looking forward to exploring these ideas and finding out where they take us in our learning. 
     

Class Information

Homework and spelling will be handed out on a Friday.

Homework to be returned by the following Tuesday.

PE will be on a Monday afternoon and a Thursday morning.

Weekly spellings will take place on a Friday

This term we are learning about Flight. Our class have thought of aspects of the topic that they would like to know more about, so we should be in for a very exciting term!

Class information

Homework and spellings will be given out on a Friday.

Homework should be returned to school by Tuesday.

Swimming is on a Wednesday morning and PE is Thursday afternoon.

The weekly spelling test takes place on Friday.
