Quotes and Questions 

We had very special new class member this week - Rusty the Robot who knows nothing about anything!!! He needs to be completely reprogrammed so that he learns the rules and his responsibilities in and outside of school. We will be teaching him lots this term!

We have started reading our class novel 'Matilda' by Roald Dahl and we hope we can explore lots of the relationships within the story to show us how to feel safe in our interactions with others and how we have lots of rights, no matter what!

We have also started to explore multiplication. The Year 2's have started with their 2 x tables and Year 3's recapping their 2', 5's and 10's. The children have worked so hard this week! 

 Following our theme this term, we are going to have a question jar and a quote jar. This week for homework can you please help your child to write one question they would like to find out the answer to. This can be related to any topic of interest. Can you also help them to find and write an inspirational quote that they understand and which means something to them. 

We will try to answer a few questions a week by pulling them out of the jar and discussing and researching the answers! We will also read out the inspirational quotes throughout the term to create a positive and kind environment in class!
