Rick Astley visited Cila for the Summer Serenade!

We had a magical time in Potions Class this afternoon!

We have been measuring the impact of exercise on our heart rate

🌺We loved creating the Enchanted Garden, we hope you enjoyed visiting it 🌸

We were visited by the author, C.C Brampton this week. He read us the first chapter of his new book, Charlie Robonik, and gave us some useful tips on how to write our own stories.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our lessons from Miss Phipps and Mr Davies on the ancient world. We loved our final session with them today, in which we held a mini Olympic Games

We took advantage of the beautiful weather by taking our maths outside today. We found out about the properties of 3D shapes by making some!

Children's Mental Health Week - Meditation Session

We have kicked off the week with a yoga session and some meditation. We focused on our breathing and clearing our minds, then we jotted down some of our feelings on Post-it notes after the session.

We have been working with Swansea Council on Children's Rights and how to tackle discrimination

To help us learn about the importance of the UNCRC rights of children across the world, we held an imaginary Rights Auction - it was great fun!

Pupils enjoyed matching flags to countries today

Technology week is so much fun! We have been working hard on designs for a giant chain-reaction machine, inspired by Rube Goldberg

We have been creating transport-themed dance routines in PE this half term

We have had a great time playing and reviewing maths games that were brought in for homework!

We have been learning all about hot-air balloons and how they fly

We made some hot-air balloons out of crepe paper, then used a hair dryer to heat up the air inside them

Claire, from Dogs Trust, visited school this week. She taught us lots about dog behaviour and how to respect dogs.

We researched methods of air travel, then presented our findings to the class

We enjoyed the shade of our revamped roundhouse this afternoon!
