We have had some VERYYYY excited children this week
December 1st has hit and we are all in Christmas mode! We have started to create our Christmas cards and tree decorations and looked at 'advent'. We have been watching a special advent video from "Theatre Nanog" everyday and we created our own kindness calendars in class.
Also..........Pudding (our class elf) is back!!! The children are missing Tinsel but he is busy in the north pole with Santa this year!
He left the Christmas decorations everywhere for us to decorate the class. He has also been busy using the photocopier and playing on the chromebooks!
In math this week, we have begun measurement. Pupils have been using rulers and measuring tapes to measure classroom items in standard units - cm (Year 2) and cm and mm (Year 3).
For homework this week, can you please help your child measure some items around the house?
Make sure they are measuring accurately and if using a ruler, starting on '0', not the end of the ruler itself.
The most obscure item measured will win a prize!!! Have fun!
Please email any photos etc to:
Have a lovely weekend,
