Alice in Wonderland
In class we have begun reading the story Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
The text has inspired many exciting challenges for us to complete this term.
Can you create a new character to add to the fantasy world Alice encounters?
Start by listing adjectives that could describe your characters appearance, then list the personality traits.
Can you use the 4 types of adjectives (descriptive, comparative, quantitative & superlative) and other rhetorical features, such as metaphors, similes and personification to write a descriptive paragraph about your character.
Finally, can you draw a picture of your character.
Think about the characters already in the story like the Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter … will your character be inspired by one of them? Or someone from history, like the Queen of hearts?
