Hello!
I hope you had a lovely Easter! The children have been excited to share everything they've been up to over the holidays and have been enthusiastic about our new topic, What Lies Beneath.
This week we have completed our EPIC planning and the children have chosen to find out about what lies beneath our homes, including the walls, floors and roofs. They have also asked to find out about what is underneath London as well as what is under he Earth - I think we will have a very busy term!!
This week we have begun to learn about energy and electricity. For homework, please could your child have an 'electricity hunt' around home and list all of the items they can find that use electricity.
Times table challenges will be completed on Friday mornings. for the next few weeks Year 2 will be recapping on the 2,5 and 10 times tables. Year 3 will be focusing on the 6 times tables.
Spelling challenges will be completed using Spelling Shed - please log in to your child's account to view this weeks words.
A reminder that Year 3 will be walking to the Library on Thursday afternoon.
