Welcome back to the Summer term! 

I can't believe we are in our final term... we have planned an action packed term full of fun and excitement! 

Our topic this term is 'Once upon a time...'. We have been busy developing our EPIC planning and have generated some interactive challenges across the AOLE's, with a particular focus on expressive arts (1st half term) and numeracy (2nd half term). 

As well as our VIP week, we are hoping that there will be a week at the end of June dedicated to transition to Olchfa (dates to be confirmed). 

Check up Tests

Spelling words will be uploaded onto our class page every Friday and will be practised in class on a Monday in preparation for the test at the end of the week. A numeracy check up test will also be completed on a Friday which will comprise of times tables and some questions linked to the current focus area.  

Homework

Once we have completed our EPIC Planning, a new home learning menu will be set which will incorporate ideas and activities that cover the areas of learning and that the children have helped generate. 

Maths homework will be uploaded onto our class page sporadically for all to access at any time. It will help support our areas of learning in class. 

PE

Our PE days will be on a Wednesday afternoon with Mr Lewis and Thursday with myself.
All children will need to wear suitable clothes and trainers on these days. Please remember to bring a water bottle also.
