Explore one of your favourite Gower beaches and investigate the habitats.

You could take photos to share with the class, create an information text about the beach of your choice or use ICT to share your findings. You can present it any way you wish - I am looking forward to seeing your beach of choice and the wildlife that lives there. 

Monday 26th February

This week we will be keeping a diary of the following things:

• Our diet - what we eat throughout the day, including main meals and snacks. Can you identify the food groups you consume. 
• Fluids - what we drink and how much. This can be recorded in ml or cups
• Our urine - how often we urinate and what the concentration is. Please refer to chart below
• Sleep - what time did you got to bed and what time you wake up. Give a rough estimate of how many hours sleep you get. 
• Our mood - At the start and end of every day, record how you are feeling 

I do not want you to change your diet at all. The purpose of the diary is to record what food groups we eat the most of and how it affects our mood and energy levels. 

We will review our diaries daily and we will also see how it affects our ability to concentrate in class and complete physical exercise. 

Minecraft air raid shelter 

• Research the different types of air raid shelters used in WW2. 
• Decide which model you want to base your shelter on 
• Build your design using Minecraft education. Remember to take photos and put them in your portfolio as you are building. You can export and share your work with the class 
• What items will you store in your air raid shelter? Remember that once they were in the shelter, they couldn’t leave until the all clear siren was as sounded!
