Welcome to Year 2!
Welcome back!!!
We hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday and ate LOTS of chocolate!!!
We cannot wait to dive deep into our topic this term which is 'Elements'. We will start by completing out E.P.I.C (Everyone Plans In Class) board to see what we want to learn about this term! I'm sure there will be lots of amazing ideas 
We will also have a student with us this term who will be supporting and eventually teaching the children with lots of fun and exciting tasks!

Homework/Spellings
Homework will be handed out on a Friday and will need to be returned by the following Monday. We will upload the homework onto the class page unless we need to provide a paper copy of any resources.
Spellings will also be uploaded to the class page on a Friday and these words will be tested the following Friday in class.
PE
Our PE days will be on Tuesday afternoon with Mr Lewis and Thursday afternoon with the class teacher.
All children will need to wear suitable clothes and trainers on these days.

Our day consisted of creating their own worlds on minecraft, innovating hogwarts Castle and making it out of cardboard, designing waterproof book covers and playing a game of Quidditch!!!

The Queen's Knickers
We had a very special message from Queen Elizabeth II who told us her knickers had gone missing!!! The children went on a knicker hunt and found all of her knickers but they were all blank! From the story we know she has a pair for every occasion so the children designed their own knickers for the Queen, created them using fabric pens and had a fashion show to display them!
