Thank you for completing the subraction homework last weekend! The children have been practising counting in 2's, 5's,10's (Year 2) and 3's (Year 3) this week using their addition and subtraction skills they have learned so far. 

It has been anti-bullying week and the children have had lots of circle time discussions around this year's theme "one kind word". We used post it notes to write one kind word on each other to show what our peers think of us. They loved it! We have also looked at the different types of bullying and how we can prevent it. They created anti-bullying posters on j2e5 on Hwb. We also linked it to our class story "The Christmassaurus" as there is a very mean girl called Brenda Payne! The children made connections between themselves and the book's main character William Trundle.

Linked to Space we have looked at the coding behind the Mars Rover, reading the "Curiosity of the Mars Rover" storybook. We used 'The hour of Code' website to have a go at our own coding on dance party!
