Similes - The Highway Rat
In class, we have been learning about similes. We have learnt that they help us to compare; they help us build a picture by comparing using the words 'like' or 'as'.
For example, we generated the following similes as a class:
The Highway Rat is as greedy as a T- Rex.
The Highway Rat's teeth are as yellow as cheese.
The Highway Rat's teeth are as sharp as a sword.
Can you draw a picture of the Highway Rat and write a simile or two to describe him?
