Dear Parents,
We have had a busy and exciting week learning about the Great Barrier Reef. We have learned how important it is to recycle and to look after our planet. The children have made some excellent persuasive posters to persuade people to recycle.
This week Year 2 have been given TT rockstars passwords - they have LOVED using TT Rockstars!! All pupils have been given their log in details today and they are in their bags.
From next week we will be doing times table challenges along with the spelling challenges on a Friday. We completed a baseline challenge today and pupils will try to improve their scores week on week. We will focus on one set of timetables on a 3 week rota. Year 2 will begin by focusing on the 2 times tables and year 3 will begin by focusing on the 3 times tables. Please click on the word document below to see the rota for the times table challenge.
For homework this week please help your child learn their year groups designated times tables and spend lots of time using TTRockstars to help consolidate their learning.
