Dear Parents/Guardians,
After E.P.I.C planning with the children last week the children decided that they wanted to look at Disney quotes and particularly quotes from ‘The Lion King’. The children wrote brilliant descriptions of Pride Rock and wrote some character descriptions in Welsh recapping key patterns from last term. We spoke about Simba breaking the rules and visiting the elephant graveyard and why we have rules in place. The children took part in some role play activities pretending to be Mufasa and Simba, what would Mufasa say about Simba breaking the rules? How was Simba going to apologise? We also listened to ‘Circle of Life’ and discussed likes/dislikes and how the song made us feel. In math we practiced doubling numbers spoke about symmetry. For homework please practice letter formation 0-9.
