On Friday October 21st we will be celebrating Harvest. We kindly ask for donations of tins, rice and pasta. These will be donated to food banks in the local area. If you would like to donate any of the above please can they be brought to school from Monday 17th- Friday 21st October.

It's been a busy but lovely week as always and we are looking forward to welcoming you all on Monday 17th October for our class open evening! 

For homework this week I would like you to help your child complete a 'Peer Support Page'.

This is basically telling us about you;

• what you are good at/how you can support others 
• what you may need help with/what support you may need from others 

This allows our friends in class to seek you out if you can help them with one of the skills they are less confident with and visa versa!

Year 3 pupils completed this last year but we wanted to make sure it is up to date and things may have changed since then! You may have improved your timestable skills so could help others with that, for example. So, if you already have one saved on your Hwb then please update that one as necessary! 

If you are happy to use j2e on hwb to complete this then please do so but a hand drawn poster will be brilliant too! We will share them in class so we all know what we are good at and what we need a bit more help with!

If you do use Hwb, then there is no need to print them at home; we can do that in school and share them digitally. Just save to your hwb account! You can also use things like the 'pic collage' app etc so please email us if you do: phillipsc303@hwbcymru.net
