Welcome to our Year 2 class page! Please check in and see what your children have been learning in class - we will try to keep you as up to date as possible.

This term our theme is 'The Elements' and we will be learning about dragons, the importance of recycling, the history of Mumbles lifeboat station and lots more!

Science investigation- what dissolves in water?

Chinese New Year.

The children have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. We learned about traditional Chinese customs, tried Chinese food and participated in a dragon dance! This year is the year of the pig.

Mary Poppins Panto!

The children had the most wonderful time at the pantomime today and the show was amazing! They were all so well behaved 😊 pudding our class elf even sneaked into the class bag to come along! We brought Rio so he wouldn't feel left out and they both enjoyed munching on some sweets!!! What a lovely way to countdown to Christmas 🎄🎅❄
