24.9.21

We have had another super week in class. We have had fantastic fun learning about the moon and how the craters on it were formed. We conducted an experiment where we dropped different sized marbles onto a tray filled with flour and coco powder.

We have been busy learning about hundreds, tens and units and have been partitioning numbers into the components that make them. We read the story ' How Big is a Million?' by a Anna Milbourne and Serena Riglietti. We wanted to see how many items we could count and we worked as a class  -  have a look on our class page to see how we got on!

This week for homework please could your child bring in 100 items of the same thing (e.g. 100 acorns, lego bricks etc). Please could these be brought in, in a clear plastic bag. We will display these on our maths wall in class and they will be in school for a while so please don't send anything that you may need soon!

Please email me  if you have any worries or concerns: evanss527@hwbcymru.net

Many Thanks,

Mrs Evans
