We've had a lovely week again - lots of things linked to the stone age including generating questions to ask stone age boy, making connections between people of the stone age and ourselves and stewing some fruit like they would've done! 

Based on the character Om from 'stone age boy' we also discussed how we feel meeting new people and what we can do to make it easier for ourselves. We partnered with someone we don't know that well in class and got to know them a little better by asking questions. At first we felt nervous/anxious but decided after we spoke to them we felt better and really enjoyed meeting someone new!

We are going to continue our journey next week and move into a new era of time once the children have chosen their favourite homes. We will begin by looking at our own homes and the technology we have today.

This week for homework can you please look at your own home? Discuss:

• What does it look like from the front/back?
• What features does it have?
• What types of technology do you use inside your home?
• How have houses changed since your mums/dads/grandparents were young?

It would be great if you could use Google Earth to locate your house. What does it look like from a bird's eye view? Could you please send in a printed picture of your house either from google earth or via photograph or you can even upload a picture onto your child's Hwb account so we can access it in school.
