Week 3
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week we have been busy finding out where our clothes have come from and what materials they are made from. We enjoyed looking at our clothes labels and finding out what our school uniforms were made out of. We continued practicing what comes before/ in between/ after in math and have done a great job writing sounds, words and sentences in our busy books. Thank you for bringing in old plain t-shirts to up-cycle next week, if you haven’t done so yet please bring one in by Monday. Reminder: Please ensure that all jumpers and cardigans are labelled clearly with your child’s name.
Homework
Task 1: Please can the children choose their favourite outfit and look at the label inside to find out information.
- Where was your favourite outfit made?
- What materials were used?
Task 2: Please can the children help with sorting the bins this week and think about what packaging can/can’t be recycled.
