Week 1
Welcome back!
Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year.
It’s been great catching up with the children this week and hearing about all their adventures during the Christmas holidays. This week we have completed some E.P.I.C planning for our new theme ‘Questions and Quotes’. We discussed what a quote is and enjoyed playing a character quiz guessing who said the famous quotes. In math the Year 1’s have been recapping 2 digit numbers and looking at patterns using an 100 number square. The Reception children have been recapping teen numbers using their fingers and toes to make different numbers! In P.E we have started learning about gymnastics using the gym equipment in the hall. Due to the children having to remove their shoes for gymnastics, this weeks homework is for the children to practice taking off and putting on their socks and trainers independently.
