Week 1

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

Welcome back! I hope you all had a fantastic half term full of fun. This week we have started practicing for our Christmas concert ‘Everyone loves a baby!’. Please let me know if you have any questions or queries about costumes. In math we have been recapping tens and units and looking at place value. The children made some beautiful poppy collages and watched a short CBeebies animation about the war and spoke about how the video made us feel. The children did a great job doing some onomatopoeia work on fireworks and creating their own firework artwork. For homework please can you go on a walk with your children over the weekend. Can the children name 5 sounds that they can hear?
