Homework Overview 14th May 2021
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you again for your continued support completing homework. The children enjoyed making pictograms and talking about which colour cars were the most/least popular. Our focus this week has been data handling, the children have done a brilliant job interpreting data from bar charts and pictograms as well as making their own! The children have used the iPads to create wonderful character descriptions and have also written the story of Jack and the Beanstalk in their own words.
Homework this week
As our writing focus in class is going to be stories, for homework this week the children will be creating a poster about their favourite story. Who are the characters in the story? Where is the story set? What happens in the story? Why is it your favourite? The children will be using the posters to talk in groups and share their favourite stories.
