Welcome back to Spring 2! We hope you had a lovely half term 

We've had the busiest week!!! Language Week has been a real success as well as St. Davids Day and World Book Day. Thank you so much for the effort put in by all the children and yourselves this week! Please see our class page and gallery section for pictures of all the fun we've had, including stories told by the crowman, a eco class disco powered by bikes, a sing and sign day where we learned how to sign our names and a special song, World Book Day and a whole school Twmpath (welsh folk dance). 

Leading on from World Book Day, for homework, can you complete the extreme reading challenge! Bear in mind health and safety when completing this activity - it is just a bit of fun!!! Can you take a photo of your child reading their favourite book in the most extreme/bizarre place you can think of! Please see some ideas below and email them to us:

We are also going to be revisting our times tables next week. Year 2 will be learning 2's, 5's and 10's and Year 3 will be learning their 3's and 4's moving onto 6's. The Year 3's already have TT Rock Stars and the Year 2's will be introduced to it next week. I have uploaded some new games on abacus to have a go over the next few weeks and there is also a great game on J2Blast on Hwb (where you access spellblast too!) called TTBlast. I will upload a link below and on the 'Quick Links' section of our class page.
