What a lovely first two weeks back in school! The children have settled in so well and are getting used to our class routines 

This week we have been busy practising our number work and place value, looking at features of recount writing and also started our lovely class book 'The Stone Age Boy' which has lead to some lovely research on the Stone Age and wonderful cave paintings (ready to be set up in our cave role play area on the decking!)

This week for homework I want to familiarise you with the spelling platform we use called 'Spellblast' which the children can use to practise their spellings at home. It is via Hwb so all they need is their Hwb login details. Please click on the spellblast link below to access and follow these instructions (you will have to log in):

Hwb > log on > 'Just2Easy' (J2e) blue icon on the homepage > 'j2blast' icon from the J2 Launchpad > 'Spellblast' > 'Have a practise - click here' > 'shared' > find your child's spelling group colour and date of spellings > click on the words to have a go!
