Welcome back to the Summer Term!
Our summer term theme is ‘What lies beneath?’
We will be exploring for example, under the sea and under the earth, investigating what we may find as we plant and watch things grow upwards and downwards under the soil!
Let's take a look! What can you see?
Welcome to Nursery
A warm welcome to nursery. Our topic this term is' Questions and Quotes!' Our learning this term will have a major focus on health and wellbeing and we will be involved in lots of activities about keeping our bodies and minds healthy. We will be asking lots of questions and looking at quotes from Winnie the Pooh to help us understand about friendships, happiness and celebrating who we are. Through our story book 'Goldilocks And The Three Bears' the children will also be developing an awareness of what is right and wrong . We will also be learning about the importance of the right to be treated fairly and respectfully. Our learning will also take us on a journey about discovering and recognising our moods and looking at colours and artwork that makes us feel happy, sad or excited!
Welcome to Nursery
A warm welcome to nursery. Our topic this term is ‘Look how far we’ve come!’. We have all been busy planning in class, EPIC Planning (Everyone Planning In Class) to decide where our learning will be directed this term. The children will begin to identify important events that have happened to them in the past and begin to understand that some events have happened in the past, other events are happening in the present and that more events will happen in the future. We will be looking back at baby pictures and investigating how we have changed. We will also be talking about our families and what we want to be when we grow up! We will be exploring baby animals too!! We have an exciting term ahead of us and I am really looking forward to working with the children this year. The curriculum will focus on experiential learning and active involvement to develop skills and understanding.
