Week 2
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week we celebrated anti bullying week. The children enjoyed listening to the story ‘Have you filled a bucket today?’ and thought about ways that we can look after each other and spread happiness. The children wrote post it notes filled with things they admire about one another. We also made anti-bullying posters. We have been practicing writing numbers in math and saying what comes before/ after.
We will be taking part in an exciting project over the next few weeks where children learn about their clothing. Please can the children bring in a plain old white/ light coloured T-shirt? We will be repurposing these T-shirts and using them in a fashion show as part of our challenge week.
For homework please can the children think about 5 things that make them special and make a poster about themselves. Please see example below:
