Sustainability
Create an action plan for Cila Primary school to become more sustainable.
Consider the impact that we have on the environment with our day to day actions; photocopying, lighting, heating, use of technology, waste ... and so on. Consider changes that could be made to how we run the school on a daily basis, that would help impact positively on the environment.
E.g we could build a greenhouse out of plastic bottles to grow our own veg to sell/use
Inspirational figures
Create an information text about an inspirational figure, past or present, who has achieved greatness in the face of adversity.
For example, Malala Yousafzai who stood up for girls' right to have an education. She went on to achieve many things and defy the limitations that were imposed on her. She went on to win a Nobel peace prize for her campaigning and for providing a voice to for the oppressed.
