We have had a great week and have begun learning about fractions - the children have really impressed us and have been taking this tricky topic in their stride.
We have continued our writing focus , which is information writing. This week for homework please could your child make an information poster on any topic they like - it could be Minecraft, the Masked Singer, Pokemon or whatever they would like! They information needs to include the following:
1. A colourful heading.
2. At least 2 subheadings with information underneath.
3. Pictures with captions.
A reminder that we are now carrying out times tables tests on a Friday morning along with spelling tests. Year 2 are focusing on the 2 times tables and year 3 are focusing on the 4 times tables.
Spelling words have been uploaded to your child's spelling shed account.
