Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
As a long standing partner school with Swansea City Foundation, we had an invitation to help the Swans decorate their Christmas Tree up at the training ground in Fairwood just a mile or so from school. Dan, our Primary Stars
Co - ordinator who works with the pupils, selected 4 of them to be involved based on their demonstration of good behaviour and application during his sessions. The pupils met some first team players and to helped them to decorate the Christmas tree. They did a great job!
Many thanks for all your donations of clothes to be recycled and helping us to raise £118.00
Our Challenge Week this half term is to show kindness to our community. We have decided to show our kindness to each other, and to those that are without a home in Swansea. Being homeless must be difficult throughout the year, but winter poses extra obstacles and challenges.
Our pupils have been busy writing letters to shops across Swansea to ask them to donate a range of items that can be gifted to homeless people at Christmas time. Pupils will be packing donated items into bags and sending them to the charities Matthew's House and The Wallich.
If you would like to show your kindness too, by donating some of the items from the list below to this fantastic cause, please send them into school by Friday 8th December.
Thank you so much for your support!

Many thanks for your wonderful donations of cakes to help us raise £269.81 for Children In Need. We have all enjoyed our non school uniform day and raising money for this worthy cause.
We had a great time in assembly this morning learning all about how to keep safe around dogs that we are not familiar with. Claire explained how we should react if an unfamiliar dog is running towards us. She also explained some dog behaviours to us so that we have a better understanding of how a dog is feeling.
The nursery children have had a very exciting morning with a visit from the fire service. The children enjoyed using the water hose, exploring the fire appliance and trying on some of the uniform. A big thank you to West and Mid Wales Fire service for visiting us today. Diolch!
Remembrance Sunday is a National opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. We showed our respect today with a two minute silence at 11am. We hope that you have enjoyed sharing our poppy display along the grass bank at the rear of the school this week.
The children have been exploring the question, Why do we wear poppies on Remembrance Day?
The poppy is the enduring symbol of remembrance of the First World War. It is strongly linked with Armistice Day (11 November), but the poppy's origin as a popular symbol of remembrance lies in the landscapes of the First World War. Poppies were a common sight, especially on the Western Front. The children have also learnt about poppies of different colours and what they symbolise and helps us to remember.
