We have had a great Easter week, hunting for eggs, rolling eggs and eating eggs! A huge thank you to you all for the fantastic bonnets and masks brought into school today for our Easter parade. They were amazing!

Eco-Schools is a global programme engaging 19.5 million children across 70 countries, making it the largest educational programme on the planet. The programme was developed by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) in 1994 and run in Wales by Keep Wales Tidy.
It is designed to empower and inspire young people to make positive environmental changes to their school and wider community, while building on their skills, including numeracy and literacy, and encompassing Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship.
It was great to welcome Justin Tipuric to Cila today. Justin is a former Welsh international rugby union player who played for Wales as an openside flanker and currently plays for the Ospreys. A big thank you to him for taking time out of his busy timetable to work with the pupils to develop their rugby skills.
It was lovely to see so many parents at our school open evening, enjoying our display of Eisteddfod entries. Our pupils are so talented!!
A huge thank you to everyone for making our world book day such a special day by wearing such wonderful costumes and sharing your favourite books.
We have all had a wonderful day working with Alex, the Children's Laureate Wales. He has really inspired us with our creative writing and poetry.
