Homework 13/6/25
This week we have enjoyed listening to the story ‘Sharing a Shell’. We talked about rock pools and what creatures might live in a rock pool. We enjoyed practicing our rolling skills during PE and using the bikes on the yard. The children did a great job making cakes for Father’s Day they particularly enjoyed using the electric whisk and of course doing a taste test! In math, the children learned about capacity. We enjoyed experimenting with different containers to see how much each container held. We also did some cutting out to develop our scissor skills too!
Our letter sound for next week is ‘n’. Please can you bring something to school that starts with the sound ‘n’ for our sound basket?
For homework this week please can the children design and make a miniature garden in a seed tray. This homework will run over 3 weeks and will not be due in until Monday the 30th June. I’ve added photos as examples below.
