We’ve had a dino-tastic week!
The children have enjoyed reading ‘The Gigantosaurus’ and have been busy looking after our very own dinosaur egg. We talked about the story and did some hot seating giving advice to one of the characters called Bonehead. The children took part in a ‘dig’ and managed to find their own fossils. We talked about dinosaur footprints and had fun getting messy and making our own tracks!
For homework this week we are recapping our sounds. Please can you go on a hunt around your house and find something starting with the letter sound ‘s‘ and bring it to school to share with the class.
In the story we read in class the dinosaurs hide from the gigantosaurus, can you make a den in your home or garden to use as a hideout? You’re more than welcome to send pictures to share with the class to FrancisN19@hwbcymru.net
