It’s been another busy week in school! The children were all very excited to show you their hard work for Wales in Bloom, it was lovely to see so many of you. Thank you for your effort with the seed tray gardens they all looked fantastic! The children enjoyed showing them to their friends. The children enjoyed being the oldest children in the school during the Teddy bear picnic, we even got to play on the big yard with our teddies! The children have worked hard practicing letter formation for d this week, we have also finished writing and illustrating our stories. In math we have continued practicing recognising spheres, cones, cubes and cylinders.
Next week we will be collecting all CAPER books in and won’t be sending home new books this academic year. If you have any books in your house from school please send them in with your child.
For homework this weekend please can you go on a shape hunt and find a sphere, cylinder, cube and cone. Please take a photo of each 3D shape you find and email it to FrancisN19@hwbcymru.net we will then look at the pictures together as a class. Our sound for next week is ‘g’. Please can you find something around the house starting with g for our sound box?
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Francis
