Cycling Proficiency Training
We are excited to welcome Amanda Howarth, Road Safety Officer for the City and County Of Swansea, to school on Thursday 26th September. She will be working with our Year 6 pupils, offering the National Standard cycle training, following Bikeability Guidelines, which for Level one is off-road training in the school yard. The training will enhance the pupils existing skill set. Pupils need to be able to ride a bike unaided and bring their own bike and helmet to school on the day to take part. The class will be split into two groups, one completing their training during the morning and the other group completing their training during the afternoon. Consent forms have been given out to the Y6 pupils and need to be returned by Monday 9th September.
